I am a proud native Texan born of Mexican immigrants. My parents taught me that hard work renders success. I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Texas and subsequently received my law degree from the South Texas College of Law in Houston. My career as a lawyer started at a prominent criminal defense firm—Hinton Sussman Bailey and Davidson, LLP. I learned invaluable lessons there from some of the greatest legal minds. I eventually went out on my own and became Board Certified in Criminal Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
Throughout my 20-plus year career, I have only represented persons under criminal accusation in state and federal courts all over Texas. I have defended virtually every type and level of criminal case including capital murder. My clients get the benefit of my experience and knowledge as well as my personal attention to every detail of their case.
